We stock damper plates for most makes of gas and diesel engines. These dampers are used with Velvet Drive, Hurth, Z.F. and Paragon transmissions. Sizes range from 6 1/4" to 15" outside diameter.

 Make sure you know engine and transmission make and model before ordering. Transmissions have different input splines so we need to know as much information as possible to ensure you receive the correct part the first time.

Boating tip- Some boats experience damper rattle. This noise comes from the transmission but is actually caused by the damper. If the engine is running too slow at idle or is running rough at low RPM the load is not constant on the input shaft. This causes a loading and unloading  effect on the damper which transfers to the gears in the transmission making a clunking noise.
